Journal: Abandoned Silos

Roof view Abandoned Silos (October 2003): Victor had long been craving a peek at the remnants of some abandoned silos near his place, and on one particularly cold night I agreed to come along and give him a hand.
We hopped the fence and Victor pointed out the possible entrance he'd found on a previous scouting mission. Not to provide too many details about this entrance, but to me it looked like a good way to get a bad case of tetanus, gangrene and/or death. But Victor was into it, so I helped him in and waited patiently in the freezing cold while he checked it out. After a long look around, he reported back that he could find no route into the main part of the silos, so I helped him back out and we adjourned.
We then moved on to another large Toronto institution, where we discovered a very mysterious new set of flooded steam tunnels that I'll describe in more detail in an upcoming issue of the zine.
